Prof. P. Jayanthi
Prof. P. Jayanthi completed her undergratuation from Adhi Para Sakthi College of Nursing in 2000. She has also completed her Postgraduation and PhD (N) from SRM College of Nursing, SRM University. She is presently working as a Professor & Programme Coordinator - PhD (N) in Omayal Achi College of Nursing, Chennai. She has a total of 15 years of experience during which she has executed International & National Conferences &Workshops and presented papers in several conferences, workshops, Seminars & Continuing Nursing Education Programs. She has also published several articles in International & National Journals. She conduct Counselling for Non Communicale Disease Clients on a week basis at the Mental Health Wellness Clinic at Omayal Achi Community Health centre, Arakambakkam.
She is currently teaching, supervising and counselling the Undergraduate & Postgraduate students in addition to guiding the students in their research projects and Dissertations. She is also a PhD Co-Guide under The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai. She has been deputed as Examiner for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Nursing Programs by The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, SRM University, Chennai, Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai and Bharathi Vidyapeeth University, Pondicherry.
She hold the positions of Joint Secretary & Editor for International Centre for Collaborative Research-Journal of Nursing Research, Reviewer in International Journal of Alzheimers, Dementia and Cognitive Neurology, Editor in Texila International Journal of Nursing, Academic Editor in Asian research Journal of Arts & Social sciences, Editorial Member in EC Psychology and Psychiatry Journal, National Advisory Board Member in International Journal of Research in Health Sciences and Peer Reviewer of various articles in Science Domain International Journals. She is also the recipient of the award for “Academic excellence and Outstanding contribution to Nursing Research from the International Centre for Collaborative Research & Alumni association of Omayal Achi College of Nursing, Chennai and received Excellence Award as an International Judge from 4th International Scientific e-Conference on Global Education Research and Technology for Sustainable Development by Texila American University on 2017 and also the recipient of Certificate of Recognition 2017 for the outstanding contribution to the quality of the journal as Peer Reviewer by Texila International Journal of Nursing, Texila American University.
